Your data
Deleting your account
You can delete your Savvy account from inside the app, at any time, without asking us. Here is where the button is, what it removes, and how long it takes.
Deletion is not reversible, and an anonymous account has no recovery credential. Once it is gone, nobody can bring your progress back, including us.
From inside the app
- 01
Open the You tab
The rightmost tab in the app, the one with your level ring on it.
- 02
Choose Delete account
It is in the account card at the bottom, under the sign-in row.
- 03
Confirm
Savvy asks once more, because this is not reversible. Confirming files the request and signs you out.
Your data is removed within 48 hours of the request. You are signed out straight away.
What gets deleted
- Your account, and the identifier it is keyed on.
- Your email address and any linked Apple or Google identifier.
- Your onboarding answers, including the goal you set and the skills you picked.
- All progress: XP, level, streak, badges, daily goal and practice days.
- Your drill history: which scenarios you saw, what you answered and the scores.
What does not go, and why
- Billing and tax records
- Where we are legally required to keep a record of a transaction, we keep it for as long as that obligation lasts. It holds no drill activity.
- Your subscription
- A subscription lives with your Apple ID, not with your Savvy account. Deleting the account does not cancel it. Cancel in your Apple ID settings, under Subscriptions.
- Aggregate counts
- Numbers that are no longer about you, such as the percentage of players who picked a given answer, survive as totals. They cannot be traced back to an account.
If you no longer have the app
Write to hello@becomesavvy.app from the email address on the account and ask for deletion. We will verify it is yours before we act, which is a protection for you rather than an obstacle, and we respond within 30 days as the privacy policy commits to.
If you never signed in, there is no email to write from and nothing that identifies you as a person. Deleting the app removes the only link to that account.
The privacy policy covers the rest of your rights, including access, correction and portability.
